Here are some iTLS Specialist testimonials and feedback after training:

My name is Tatiana Pubill. I am working at Alcon for 5 years and my actual job function is In Process Control Sr Analyst.

During the course week I could learn many new tools that help me a lot in my routine. In my opinion the best part of the course was the statistical model.

My job here in Alcon is total related with this model, I am working with the process variability and the controls of the process. The new concepts and tools that I had learned, as I said before, help me to work better. Another thing that the course help was how to organize better my work and how to have meetings more effective and productive.

In  summary this course added new values and concepts showing a new way to work.

Hello, I am Claudia Garrau. I have been working at Alcon Inc. since 1996 at Finance, General Management and, most recently, promoted to Materials Area. Today I am responsible for the Demand Planning and Importation of the Surgical Business Unit products in Brazil.

I was pleased to be chosen as one of the participants, during 2010, of the iTLS Training in Brazil in which I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Russ and learn all the techniques involved by iTLS. In parallel, I have implemented the histogram, fish bone and control chart tools to either help us during our project as well as to analyze and propose improvements within Importation area. Techniques learned are also giving us support to analyze and improve our forecast methods on demand planning rationales.

The more I learn about demand planning, I realize that those techniques will be helpful to implement controls and eliminate unnecessary taks.

With my best regards, Claudia

I am Tatyane Poltronieri, a compliance analyst of Alcon Brazil, and have participated on the iTLS training. For me, learning how to use the iTLS tools helped me not only on my project but also on my routine and tasks. With the tools we can get a better understanding on how to organize our own work and on how to understand a problem or deviation and seek a resolution for it. Today, after the completion of the course and use of the tools on my project I have a clear view of what needs to be done and how to accomplish the expected goal. I can truly say that iTLS changed my way of work for better.

Att,

Tatyane

“Russ was able to train a wide mix of people in the ITLS methodology being didatic and aggregating a lot of value, he passed his knowledge to all students in a nice and smooth session, was a pleasure to be part of this training. Another thing that call my attention was that 99% of this people have Portuguese as mother language, and good part of them have limited knowledge of English but all of them could absorb a lot of the info and felt realized at the end !!!” September 3, 2010

My name is Marcos Leal. I am Technical Support Manager and I am responsible for developing new employees (Field Service Engineers) as well providing technical support for customers and veteran Field Engineers. Field Services Engineers last about one year to be ready to take care of their regions.

iTLS Training help me to understand in depth how to apply academic models to real life. iTLS methodology is more than a science to me because I learnt how to qualify a database and how to better extract useful information for managing people instead only process. iTLS is very powerful tool for processes because optimizes the resources and improves throughput as the same time, cleans, stabilizes and reduces losses.

Actually, I am applying iTLS to analyze technical services working time per Field Engineer (in preventive maintenance) in order to optimize Field Engineer productivity and reducing spare parts inventory costs. The iTLS method makes easy to see where I need to apply effort first and will generate more impact. One of the better improvements is observed during the process: the new learned lessons are becoming long term documents that will help continuous improvement process.
